These Pretzels are Making Me Thirsty

By Nick Rymer

Project Description
Although there had been immensely popular shows before it, Seinfeld was the first TV show to become a “water cooler show”. The day after the show aired, people across the country bantered around the water cooler talking about the previous nights episode. These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty works by putting both the watching of Seinfeld and the talking about it the same social space. The installation allows viewers to enter into social interaction by bringing people together around the water cooler, creating interaction with a television show like they have never had before.
