Project Description
The project that I am assembling is an interactive touch screen piece that is time line based. The project will catalog and trace the origin of calypso music’s history as the first “world music” by audio and visual representation through photography and video. And highlight the connection of the music to social movements and political struggle on the island of Trinidad and Tobago as well as the music’s social commentary on international affairs.
